I need to measure them, but I am super happy with the Brembo Blanks. I bumped it against the garage door rail and it rang like a bell. These rotors had 1.5 pad lifetimes on then. I glazed a set of green stuff pads when I was still taking I25. I switched to ED+ pads and they provided good stopping for 95% of their lofe. The last 5% you could tell they were done.

Replaced them with a new set of Brembo blanks and a set of EBC yellow stop pads. Was able to squeeze in a set of oem pad silencers on the outboard pads and its way quieter already.

Will be able to bed them in on next Sunday.

I highly recommend EBC yellow and brembo blanks if you are unsatisfied with oem stopping power.

Also look at fluid upgrades and together they supercharge your ATRAC. I use Motul 5.1. Its higher temp and lower viscosity so it has much less friction. This allows the abs pump to have more effective power at each corner.

Everyone thinks I am twin locked.

Needed to get rid of some negative energy so i took a personal day and did a tour of the close trails to me.

Buckhorn was open all the way to Pingree Park. Its a fun one for solo speed runs. Let me test out the suspension. Came back via Poudre Canyon. Brake pads are a little more worn in. I installed toyota silencing shims on the outboard pad, and they are way quieter than my previous EBCs. So if you get EBCs make sure to grab that oem brake shim. They are inexpensive.

What tire carrier do you use for the gx? How do you like it back there?

I've owned a few Miatas, one concurrent with a 4Runner. Will own another someday.

Spare tire carrier is JWOffroad. Not the prettiest thing out there but it works. No issues whatsoever, though can definitely tell there's extra weight on the door.

I'll likely drive all of them next year and then run a financial assessment of getting something used, cheaper, and sporty vs. a new hybrid. I'll also be 42 this year, and honestly find myself getting a bit less interested in a truly sporty car as I get older (though I do miss driving a manual).

Prior to my GX I had a 2018 Mazda 3 hatch which I loved, but I haven't been particularly impressed with the newer Mazdas. The older generation that I had felt unique/special, the new ones don't for some reason. I picked the Mazda over the Civic when I bought mine as the Civic at that time (albeit faster) felt like a cheap economy car, while the Mazda felt like a luxury car.

Thanks! Northern Colorado isnt quite as glamorous, but you won't see anyone. Rustic and red feather lakes are tiny little hamlets with old school general stores. Very little crowds.

State forest state park is where moose was first reintroduced to Colorado which is west of where i was .

Yea, I had a modified Veloster Turbo when I had 1 ton work van. It was my go kart.

I have considered a BRZ for commuting. It would need a lift and something to give it height visibility to keep me from having the same scenario happen that killed my civic.

BRZ lifts exist! Lot of rally-esque options for those cars. Can't imagine a more fun way to spend money.

Tiny and slow go karts feel a hell of a lot faster when you only take up 1/2 the lane and have no roof. Easily increases the feel of speed by 2x.

I owned a 2013 NC Club PRHT 6MT for a few years. Easily my favorite car I have ever owned. Early NDs have gearbox issues but they're all good for like 40 MPG. ND also does have worse steering feel than the NC and the RF isn't a perfect replacement for the PRHT though. NC gets s*** on a lot but it's the best all-around Miata in my (admittedly biased) opinion.

In all reality, I really do love the NC, looking to get one at some point, especially the PRHT. It's the Fiancés favorite model besides the NA.

I know the NB is better in every way than the NA, but I can't fit in a NB (6'5) can't even close the door. About to actually delete the door handles and replace with a strap on my NA door cards because I can't turn my wheel anymore without hitting my leg. Can't fit my hand through. Whoops.

The ND had it's gearbox issues for a while yeah, pretty much made of glass which scares me away from them quite a bit.

We have 2 NA’s. One stock and one heavily modified. So much fun! Basically a go cart on steroids. MPGs aren’t the best but lot better than the GX.

Yeah, low to mid 20's. At least ~10 mpg better than the GX lol

But I rev the piss out of it once it's up to temp and always usually around town.

Always cheaper than $30 to fill up though, so never really care about MPG on it.
