As soon as I can cobble together a way to add the AT205 to the transmission without spilling it all over the place I will do this for sure!

Clear rubber/plastic hose (somebody here will recall the size, I think 5/8) and a funnel. Drop it down under the hood by the exhaust on the passenger side. You need like 8’ of hose. When you put the AT205 in, chase it with an ounce or two of transmission fluid so you get it all in. Before you pull the hose out, go up under the truck and make sure none of the low points in the hose are holding fluid. Chase it into the trans. I use a bolt and a hose clamp to keep from making a mess pulling the hose back out of the engine bay.

Hi guys. It's pleasure to read that forum with so much oriented guys. I'm looking to buy gx460 so i read threads about issues. I saw that some of you changed the transmission for new one, some już put at-205 and it works but I'm thinking about yet another solution. If I'm not wrong GX uses A760F transmission, F means four wheel drive. This transmission is common in other lexus and toyota vehicles but with A760E code wich mean RWD cars. As i can see the only difference is bell housing which is bolted to transmission body and diffrent output housing thats is bolted too. Internals looks the same. So maybe you can swap trans from for example lexus IS or LS to GX just changing the bell and outpust housing. Did someone tried that already? I've seen one thread in tundra forum and it loooks promissing. I know that in america there is no problem to get brand new A760F transmission but here in europe not so really so I'm looking for cheaper alternatives.

Check the valve body and solenoids. I thought there was something different in the rebuild kit I received from Cobra between the E/F
