Cooper SSTs I will get a good pic of them on the wheels -- my wheels are the same as on the Alumacruiser thread. They re 17 inch and look excellent -- now if I can make the rest of it not look like a bucket of ass.

He sells them stock at like $4800.00 or completely tricked for $7,000 ish. Just depends on how sick you want it -- they can do pretty much anything witht hem -- oh yeah, his are super quality

And he supplies parts for the things? They look pretty cool. Hell, that's less than a four wheeler and a lot less than one of those John Deere Gators.

How did you hoist the whole body off the frame?
I'm looking at this next spring.

After I got all of the old Body mounts off me and 3 other good friends picked it up and set it off to the side. Watch your hands, take your time and possible use some sort of brace -- its not too terrible heavy -- just watch the front end if you leave the windshield on --

Yes he can get parts and has people to work on them if anything gets broken. Very good deal for all that you get -- they are very powerful and the 4wd and locker go a long way in a sticky spot.

Has anyone else used the Quikwire setup for your project.? I am about to dive on on this project and I wanted to know if there was anything screwy I would have to deal with. Thanks

Just thought I would show some better pictures of the tires.

I have been working in the evenings on some of the small things. Sanding, griding away bondo. Whoever owned this cruiser before was a bit bondo happy. I have already talked about the top being mudded and welded. But I also had to grind the windshield hinges and chisel away to get it where it would lay down. I will post some pictures of that later -- anyhoo, Here are the tires, they rule!

I bought the same tires for my truck. Don't have'em mounted yet.

I think you will like them, I have read a lot of good things about them. -- I just dont know yet since my rig is in piles on the shop floor.

umm, my old man runs coopers on his 80 series and we get 50 000miles to a set, their pretty decent tire, not too noisy. Ours are a predominately on road tire though........

Just a little update.

Pulled the new wires -- an ez wire set up from jt outfitters.

I am replacing the head gasket and valve cover seal .

Got the new carb in from Cruiserparts.net. And putting the header on the 2f -- shouldnt be much longer and we'll be rolling.

Almost a year has past. The 40 has sat in waiting.

Since, I have finished my pig and am driving it around. The 40 is up next and I have changed my outlook on it. I have a 5.3 vortec and 700r4 that I will be putting in it.

I am acquring parts now and will keep everyone posted.
