I recently rebuilt my knuckles 100 miles ago, if that. Cruiser has not gone out since i’ve been busy with life. Noticed theres leak on the floor under the knuckle more so on the passenger side. I used cruiser teq rebuild kit and valvoline moly fortified synthetic grey grease to pack it 3/4 full.

Maybe I’m just looking for reassurance or need to check on my breather hose but I smelled the oil on the floor and it didnt smell like anything at all. No strong smell like gear oil.

Possibly a failed inner axle seal, the small one that goes around the axle to keep gear oil from mixing with the trunnion's moly. Sadly, that would be a do-over.

Edit: Op said no strong odor like gear oil so (as mentioned above) oil separation from the grease is a possible source.

@Bhudzallmighty : How long has your 80 sat in the garage since the Birf/knuckle service?

Weird mine sits a lot, but I’ve never had that separation.
But it not the first time I have seen it here on Mud.

I did the axles about december of 2024. Ive taken it a couple of short trips but it sits most of the time. Yes, the oil has no smell to at all.

I agree with the others that it's just the oil separating from the grease. Drive it more and be sure to drive it on curvy roads or make lots of S-turns to get the birfs to mix it back in. Nothing wrong with a few drops of seepage, as there's plenty of oil in that grease, but better to keep it mixed. Heating during normal driving would normally accomplish this, too.
