While the rear Chevy 63 springs work well they do not keep up with the front . So I am linking the rear but going with a trailing arm setup this time . And all my PSC stuff was at my door when I got home .

Went down to Johnson Valley for Thanksgiving. The truck worked really well . Except for my steering but I knew that was going to be an issue since I had not had time to install the hydro assist .

I see back door is getting dug out, not as bad as I have seen in the past, weather all plays a part in that. going down that during the race was fun!
Is the 3rd pic Jack Hammer?

Yes we ran Backdoor and Blueberry then Jackhammer At night its fun to go watch Chocolate Thunder . I wanted to run it during the day but never got the chance

Are the wildwood & GM disc same thickness and hat depth ? My 6 lug rotors are for a 85 K5 blazer and they are thinner than those which requires the piston to stick out a bit, the edge gets rusty and they lock up, I learned and keep them coated which has worked but a thicker rotor would be right, i'll see what application Solid specs in the kit.

My willwood rotors are a little thinner. I will measure when I get home . I like the willwoods because I can swap rotors the hat unbolts . My willwood brakes are very nice it stops the 40s very well. My guess is the solids will do the same 🤷‍♂️. I know the willwoods rotor is 12 1/4 I have to measure the solids

So I was able to get everything mocked up tonite. And I will not be able to use my Wilwood stuff . I mean I probably could but I would have to reinvent the wheel and it’s not worth the effort .

So I am at a bit of a crossroads 🤦🏻‍♂️. I can not decide if I should build out my Double cab. Or just keep going on the ex cab 🤔. There are pros and cons to both . My double cab is mint. The ex cab is ok . The biggest reason I like the double cab is the space. And ease of loading Elsie . Plus if I have passengers. The ex cab works and she does have a spot in the back but not a comfy couch like the double cab . Both have the same wheelbase. Just the ex has a better departure angle since I bobbed the bed . While I try really hard not to damage the body when I wheel. I would not be upset if the ex took some rash. And the double would sting. A bit more . It inevitably that damage will happen to what extent 🤷‍♂️. If I keep going on the ex I will go full hydro. / steering

I think I have answered my own question. I have to fly to FL in the next couple of weeks 😳. And my good friend has a very nice 80 he will sell me . I think I will sell my double cab 😫 and roll
That into some new Dissent bumpers for the 80’
