had a 97 Mazda MVP that I needed to strip. Looked under the hood and discovered my acc. linkage only had 4 little strands holding it intact.

I went to the Mazda pulled the cable.......went into the garage made a bracket(5 minutes of my time) then proceeded to install new cable.

Fit like a glove:D

Next......hood shocks. Removing them from the tailgate of the mazda:D Stay tuned kids

Why don't you just bolt a pulley to the middle of that sunvisor and run some cord through the front of the hood? :D

Thats it...............PAPPY!

:flipoff2:

no..........I even used the dash switches out of the Mazda such as diff lock, aftermarket lighting, rear window and a couple of the dummy switches.damn near a perfect fit.

:hhmm:Has anybody ever had rear heat........I mean rear heat in a runner..me has a complete kit now.

well...time to wrench.
:DTry to keep it tech kids:flipoff2:

Or tie a helium balloon to the hood.... (A big one...) :D I'm sure it wouldn't cause visibility issues....

Well damn...another day of using all Mazda parts...I used the fire wall grommets(mine was missing all the bastards), used the speakers. Installed my CD system and with it I used the Mazda pull out cup holders above the CD player....along with using the brackets out of the dash to mount the crap....of course I had to modify them to work. :D That was just in 2 hours.

Wrong forum! Can I post up the work on the hotrod in here then.;p

As for the 4Runner rear heat, it's a pretty simple install using parts from a take-off rig. Get new hoses though and some hood heat reflecting tape. :bounce:
