Are the studs that connect the downpipe to the exhuast manifold the same size as the ones that go in the head same thread and diamiter
I run a header so I can't say for sure. But, off the top of my head they are 8mm.

I know thread size is the same. But I want to say one side is different then the other.

Exhuast side stud nut size the size I need connects the downpipe to the exhuast manifold. The exhuast manifold on new head has good studs coming out it but don't no size and its bolted to the head. So can't just carry it in home depot to try them

And does a gasket go between the two exhuast manifold and downpipe

Yes there's two little circle gaskets between the end of the manifold and the y-pipe. And just pull a nu.off your old manifold and use it to fin the new ones. They're the same thread more then likely.

What is your time line? I might have those exhaust gaskets (down pipe) that came with my gasket set. I run a header so I didn't use them. You can have them.

I'm afraid to tuch the nuts on curent exhuast manifold. I gota drive from Baltimore to the PA line Friday evening so me and my buddy can work on my truck sat morning when its cold

The studs are 10mmx1.25. Had some from Napa and they fit and that's what it says on the back.

Pappy I'm doin it sat up in Lancaster area of PA Im staying in Baltimore and live below Charlottesville va no fliping work down there . so had to come here to work and go back every other week to family

Can somone please tell me what the tube that goes intonthe lower intake that takes a rubber gasket is called whats it do. Napa cant find it and i realy need to pick it up before 630 today

You'll need to get an o ring for it when you take everything off since there's no actual part number.

There is a Toyota part number. I've historically bought them.

I'm geting it from Napa. And I gota get it today. Is it just a oring could I get away with a asorted box of orings

May want too get gasket on back secured make sure its not leaking antifreeze .
Make sure silicone head gasket in front before head is placed back on it.
Make sure timing chain is on correctly take timing cover off
Replace timing cover gaskets silicone etc.. grease up good pulley crank shaft.., so next time you take it apart it is not hard.
Make sure head is clean soak in sex cool antifreeze or run it through till you feel it freely unclog your head?
Whop whop tip I did it
Have machine fully check head valves pressure test etc..

Well half way three the head gasket . heads bolted back on. Used new bolts. New head had extra emission stuff mine don't have on my motor I got block off plates on top my exhuast manifold. The one on the new head head metal tube hooked up went to some funky s*** other side the motor. Swaped my block off plates to new exhuast manifold got head on timeing chain kit installed. And cover on oilpump on it. Then noticed my new exhuast manifold that came on the new to me head didn't have the holes drilled and taped for the dam 02 sensor. So now in the morning we gota deal with three broken exhuast stuf that go to the down pipe. And get the rest of motor together. Pistons and cylender walls all look good .

Well its back together sounds better then ever. But dam oil pump is leaking. And got no power. So figtr dizzy is one tooth out of time. And autoparts store doesn't have the seals in stock. Was so looking forward to driving it home tonight from PA to Baltimore . instead my buddy taken me home and hopefully he does it for me tomorow and meets me at my house with the truck. And I takem home or ima have to drive up have him follow me back then bring him home and go back yay me
