Impressive. What are the exact specs of your 35s? Did the fenders need a little remodeling or do you rub at certain flex/steering combos with the OEM suspension?
I did pound the pinch weld back and removed most of the inner fender liner in the front also.

Impressive that the stock front bumper made it through too....and no rear quarter panel hits or winching! Good driving! The low range TC gear will be a nice addition. Stock gears? What were the hardest sections for the IFS?

I keep saying I'm going to take my 100 through...and then end up in my 80. PM me if you guys go again next summer.

Gears are stock, I will def be putting TC gears in soon! The zero offset Methods with the Treps def gave me added protection to the body, those with the Metaltech sliders with a kickout and the added hoops on the rear bumper came in handy. To be honest the IFS in my opinion never really caused much of an issue, I was rolling with 3 or 4 80's and doing just fine. We had a couple 200's with us also, they took a little body damage but nothing to major. We will def PM ya if we go back next year, my new favorite trail!!!

After seeing your rig I’ve been waiting for this build thread. Patiently but not so patiently waiting for more :)
thanks man, more to come soon!

Considering how easy the Rubicon was with your current setup, do you think the LX could have done it stock on those 33s you had prior?

I think the special sauce for the 100 is lockers and 35's, could it be done with lockers and 33's, I think so, just struggle a little more. Sliders and full skids are mandatory in my opinion. I went with the @sleeoffroad skids, I think they are 3/16th's steel, beefy s***!

Those are the most badass tires I've ever seen on a 100. and doing the Rubicon with AHC? wow dude, that truck looks SICK

I'm so amazed the AHC took that trail with the weight of a rear bumper , and sliders

thanks for the props, loving these tires, going to slap the same combo on my 200 series also! You reminded me of one more last minute mode that I made before the Rubicon trip, I swapped out the rear Lexus springs for some Old Man Emu springs to help with the weight.

Treps are 35x12.50's, wheels are Methods 17x8.5 zero offset! I put 2 small washers on the front bumpstops, proly 10mm and then 1.5 inch homemade rear bumpstop extenders. No rubbing through the entire trail, if they don't rub on Rubicon proly ain't gonna rub:)

Wait, 35's will fit on a stock height LX?

and yeah I need to do that rear spring swap as well. I'd like to get a rear bumper on. What year and mileage is your LX?

My daughter snagged this shot from their 80 series as we convoy into South Lake Tahoe for beers after 3 days on the Rubicon...

Where'd you guys get beers at? Good friend of mine works for Keep Tahoe Blue, so i'm up there at least once a year.

I love love love backpacking out in Desolation Wilderness.

One of the nights we grabbed beers at this place, the band was absolutely excellent, we got them to play Zombie and they knocked it out of the park. Man I love South Lake Tahoe...
