Installation instructions available here. The ladder only attaches to the upper half of the tailgate.

I don’t have measurements, but here are pics from a previous build. You will need to be VERY careful while installing (2018+) you may accidentally pinch or break your power lift gate pinch sensor ($450). I know from experience.

Doesn't effect it at all.... Great accessory if you need to get on your rack.

It would be great to have a ladder option for the LX that is independent from the rear bumper.

Its not a direct fit but with some massaging and a BFH to flatten out the top mount its been working fine for a few years now.
