FWIW, with the grab bar located below the airbag, the passenger risk breaking his/her hands and fingers when the airbag deploys. The only vehicle I've seen with passenger side airbag and grab bar are on the GM van/trucks. On the GM vehicles, the grab bar is located above the airbags.

You can see that the model does not have airbags. So I'm thinking if you have airbags, you can/should not do this mod.
Is this what yours looks like David?
I've looked high and lowfor pics of the bar/dash, but could not find any with airbags AND the bar.
