I see PN 8157060062 in stock, and just as expensive as always...

Interesting thank you! I was actually looking through the Lexus PN and dealer stocks, I wonder if I accidentally saw the spoiler model? Anyways I’ll probably order one.

You might want to compare prices with partsouq.

Something interesting I found out today. The plate lamps I got do not work with the original bulb sockets.. they do not “click” into place. Did some part number searching and found that there was a PN change at some point, and there is also a newer socket PN available. I’m assuming I need the new sockets. Ordering tonight.

I’ve had a noisy bearing on one of my pulleys since I drive it home, I had almost everything on had to do the job so I dug in today. Goal was to replace rad hoses, belt tensioner, idler pulley, power steering pump, larger hose between PS pump and reservoir. I didn’t follow the FSM per se, because I didn’t remove the fan and fan shroud. Just dropped the skid plate and pulled the old parts out one by one. Was a pretty easy job. I have all the new parts on expect the new PS pump because it hasn’t arrived yet, oh and the larger rad hose (should arrive today). I also grabbed some oem tension clamps because a PO had replaced with some peasant band clamps. Holy cow take a look at the size difference in the spring on the new tensioner! I wonder why the updates part is so much beefier.

My power steering pump has been chirping for over a year when cold, I need to get after that at some point this summer.

Lower rad hose came in, along with a new lower tension clamp. Also my ocd got the best of me with the after market + battery clamp.. also also, I was right about the license plate lamps. If you order new lenses you have to order the new sockets, mine came in and they click into place with the new lenses. Must be an update on the little ears. Here is the PN on those as well.

It will be like a new LX when you are done.

im still looking for someone to do the steering wheel. zero luck so far, no one wants to touch it because of the wood.

I've been watching your thread with admiration and interest, nicely done. Anyway, I'm guessing your going to do a nice clean up and shampoo job on the upholstery in there? I find it interesting that where others would see a pile of crap sitting there, you pictured a diamond in the rough. Very commendable. If I were closer I would volunteer to help in any way I could if you needed it, but it appears you have it completely under control.

I got really lucky on one of the eBay wheels from Taiwan.

I rented a Rug Doctor with upholstery attachment to clean the carpet and a Turbo scrubber for the seat belts. After cleaning the carpet, I used a Fisher Price baby heater to dry the carpet. It was cold and rainy out when I dried the carpet.

This week I got my new PS pump installed. Mostly. It seems 10 tiny fingers made their way into my bolt container in my garage and made off with one of the 3 bolts that hood the PS pump on. Anyways, ordered some new ones. I had used a part store idler pulley, and it bugged me enough to order an oem one. Here’s a comparison, even the gates has the same exact bearing and the pulley is made in Canada. It’s a quality part and I’ll put it on the shelf as a spare. I used PS hoses (off the rese) from Witt’s and new oem clamps .

I have a few parts on order, the rear high center stop lamp assembly new oem. Pricey, to say the least. I also reached out to Jason at cruiser outfitters and ordered a set of arb side rails and steps to match my from bumper, I was inspired by Kurt’s 100 build, which is excellent.

Dropped my front seats off at the upholstery shop early this week with new leather, expecting a 2-3 week turnaround on those. It’s all coming to a close!
