Guys I need to get the rear tailgate down in our donor pig. Once I crawl inside I hope I can knock it out in one shot. The rear panel is removed and the glass is up on our '74 piggy.

I have a Power Pole so I can add power wherever I choose pretty easily. Without a bunch of fuss, where can I add 12v power and have the window retract into the tailgate. I can figure it all out from there but I assume I can bypass all the mess and just apply power to the window regulator motor?

I'd like to avoid climbing in and out a bunch. Any advise or tips before I go diving in? Is there a manual over ride or something easy that I am not thinking about?

Thanks in advance-

Drew

Yes, one of the hardest jobs on a Pig...
You probably could run a jumper wire to the little junction strip inside the tailgate, won't help if it's a bad plastic gear...
I think what I have done before is knock out the little locking strips in the base of the widow and then flex the arms out of the way so the window can slide down.

Wiring diagram is in Post #9. A betting man would put money on the gear being broken.
