I also removed my rtt. That relationship fad is over for me. Just picked up an OzTent RV-5 and two Oztent cots. Just how I used to do it. Just set it up real quick to check it out, but have'nt really dived into it yet.

My wife doesn't like the idea of a RTT so this might be an option. Any other options like these?

Where do you see the advantage over an ARB awning room at less than 1/2 the cost?

Where does the water go off the awning?

Looks like vehicle height and awning height is important to make this work in wet weather?

It's more preference. However, one advantage is that you can disconnect and go. The awning room has to be disassembled to put away the awning.

compact camping concepts used to have a version of a tent like this one...

Just a side note on this company Geo Adventure.
They ran a group buy on RTT last month.

I signed up for a purchase with someone named Ruston.
He was pretty bad at communicating details and following up with everyone.

They sent a quote 6 wks later, which included $375 freight.

Freight on the website is quoted at $150 and also was considered the baseline in the GB.
I don't do business with people who play these kind of games.

Lower the price on one line of the invoice and then jack up the price elsewhere to compensate.
Bad business practices IMO.

Thanks Jason. Good to know. I talked with Geo the other day. I believe he was the owner. He was very nice, however he didn't seem very confident in knowing about his products. Supposedly, they are the ones that escorted the Xoverland team through Costa Rica.
