Ok cool!! thats a bit better that my local Toyota!! I think that will be a good option for sure.

my parts guy gives me a small discount, but I know from experience here in Sydney, the prices vary for each dealership, so maybe try shop around if you have options! I know it's not cheap either way, but should be a solid solution to our problems, and being OEM, alignment should be perfect, allowing a good seal that lasts! Will use high temp copper sealant and double nuts on the threads to stop them loosening over time with vibration. Also replacing the 3 rubber mounts as mine are all shot.
 
Thats all you can do. I think using genuine flange gasket and sealant is a must as well. The mounting flange on the exhaust manifolds could also be warped... would be good if there was a way to machine them flat again...
 
I'd hope that is unlikely given they are cast (I think).. any slight warping should be solved by using new gaskets and sealant.. someone else said they also solved this by doubling up on gaskets. The manifold has a recessed round shape for the gasket to sit.. would be very hard to warp!
