What are you guys doing?

So far, I'm thinking stuffed mushrooms and mini sized crab chimis.

I recently did some cheeseburger-stuffed mushrooms that were a huge disappointment. Got the recipe from a Steelers fan. I think I have a better idea for them now. Interested to see what y'all are doing.

Best shrooms imo are caps packed with bacon (solo) or spinich (finely chopped with garlic). Cap off with cream cheese, a slice of butter, and bake for 20 to 30 min @ 350. Pull from the oven, place a wad of graded longhorn chedder over each and return to the oven and bake till bubbly.

I'll bring my fingerfuds over if you meet me at John's place...:D

Maybe some jerked wings this year. Haven't had wings in a while...good enough excuse :) Or maybe something ground, seasoned, wrapped in cabbage leaves and stewed...but small enough to leave eating utensils in the drawer ;)

Smoked pulled pork sliders, habanero stuffed green olives, loaded potato skins and crock pot Swedish meatballs.

Edit... :princess: wanted the pork butt NON-SMOKED... :hhmm: So, I made a Hawaiian dry rub and will braise it and then slow cook it in chicken broth, rum and pineapple juice for the sliders.

Cevichee (SP?)Always good with the tortilla chip shaped as scoops

I forgot about the ceviche, we have a local place that makes "to die for" shrimp in minutes with the tiny tostada shells. Another stop for the mornings run,
