Just a quick reminder that the club annual meeting is the Oct 26 weekend at Ralph's in Dawsonville. This is a family-friendly wheeling, cookouting, and raffling weekend.

Schedule and Location
RALPH’S!!! WHERE ELSE?? Saturday Oct 26, arrive any time from 9am on. Wheel during the day, dinner picnic and raffle starting around 5pm, fire pit, hang out, “driving events”, camp for the hardy types, wheel on Sunday morning.

Entry
$20 for truck/member, $10 per additional person 17 and over (younger is free). Member must be current on 2013 club dues.

Dinner Picnic
Burgers, dogs, chicken, buns and fixin’s provided by the club. Everyone please bring a side dish (chips, salads, dessert, etc.) and your desired drinks.

Raffle
Yeehaw!! Fun stuff, and I ain’t tellin’, you’ll have to come see for yourself. There will be Driver’s Raffle for something fancy, and a Free-for-All Raffle for everyone. Must be present (minimally, but at least awake) to win.
Driver’s Raffle: 1 ticket for being a 2013 member, 1 additional ticket for paying 2014 dues at the annual.
Free-for-All Raffle: $1 each

Gift Exchange
For fun but with useful things that normally are under the radar and easily forgotten, but sorely missed when needed. Please bring a $10-15 gift that is useful for the truck/trail or garage – hardware, tools, navigating/camping/cleaning “support/ancillary” stuff, etc. Family-friendly of course, no gag gifts. One per truck/member, and anyone else who wants to participate (whoever brings one gets one.) Wrap, bag or box sufficiently that the gift is a total surprise until it’s opened.

Misc
Remaining 2013 club T-shirts will be on sale - get yours while they last!
Bring a Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast if applicable.
Bring camp chairs and your usual hanging out supplies.
Everyone bringing a trash bag or two will be helpful.

It’s Halloween!! For those of us who aren’t scary enough to begin with, do something scary!!!

NEXT!!

This is the final OFFICIAL "wheeling" event of the year for us so we'd like to have a good turnout. The plan is to cookout, have a raffle and wheel the peepee out of Ralph's.

It's been pushed back a little this year to work around the SCC schedule and handful of people that usually go to that. The leaves ought to be in full bloom and the weather should be perfect for a good day ride or more.

Bring a dish, bring your rig, bring your wife, bring your kids. We'll have something going on for everyone. For you wives, the outlet mall is reeeaaaallllyyy close by! :flipoff2:

think I'll just save this little spot right here for future abuse. Odds put it at about 35% that you show up. :flipoff2:

CB/HAM HAM Added!

breaker breaker!

A CB/HAM radio Help-a-Member (HAM) has been added. Pete Adams, the guy who did the tech talk at the August monthly meeting, will be at the Annual Meeting on Saturday for any hands-on CB or HAM radio help. Bring your truck, radio, questions, and problems (and any spare parts you think you might need and tools) and he'll try to help.

cool, will be helpful for him to see our application and then instruct from there.

Details on the annual should be coming soon but I suspect it will be much like years past. Show up around 9-10AM, wheel, BS, Raffle, food etc...

don't forget to bring a dish please. Folks--We need to get a head count ASAP!!!!!! don't need to be buying food for people that don't show up. :bang:

Since RJ started the thread I assume he will edit the first post with upcoming details... hint

TTT - Weekend fishing expedition for attendees, don't even know if the prez is officially coming yet cause he never visits this forum. :flipoff2: Visitors are welcome for the regular event fee, whatever that's gonna be.

ill be there. may bring aidan, he's undecided, so dont plan any food for him... because that would be hilarious.

that's true brotherly love right there, kudos

Who else? Have very limited time to plan for this and we would appreciate some heads up.:deadhorse:

Reckon you can count me in won't be wheeling might be riding. Don't know about the "Hand Brake" (:princess:). i'll cook something while I'm there. Probably some Heart Attack Beans.

So who's camping?

whoa!!!!:eek::eek::eek: Is that..., could it be?...Nooooo, Wait!!! I think it is... It's A Brian?! What rock have you been hiding under, it's all Lisas' fault right.

As much as I'd like to it's probably not in the cards for me this year to camp. Linda just had surgery and it's doubtful that she'll be on her feet in less than 2 weeks, but I'll hold the option open juuuust in case. More than likely I'll be darting in and out throughout the day though.

That said, who's night wheeling Sat night?? :steer::steer::steer::steer:

For the attendee list Ted:

RJ (possible Sat camping)
Pete the radio guy (picnic yes, camping no)

Anyone bringing young'un(s)? We can have a trick-or-treat bowl - actually a separate one that us "adults" are not allowed into, since we'll wipe out a general one.
