Love the body style and the 1FZFE coupled to a 5 speed.

Gotta be pristine. And legally on the ground in the USofA.

And that's after the seller lowered the Ask by $10K

A few weeks ago, I spoke with the seller. He sent along a good set of pics. The truck is pretty clean, but it's been repainted. I can't recall the reason.

Be patient and there will be a few down here by the end of the year, or early next year.. With diesels.. and for better logical price.

I'm looking specifically for a 4.5l 1FZFE gasser. Not a diesel and not a 3F/E.

Probably about the same as the HZJ70 set up.

The HF1A is a very small transfer case and the H15X is not a long transmission either. The wheelbase is the same as a 40 series so fitting a 5 speed is pretty easy.

So they use a H15# behind the 1FZ in the 70 series vs the R15# as used with all the later diesels and older 2LT/22R 70 series ?

Correct. 1FZ always got the 80 series 5 speed and transfer case. In all markets. In all body versions as well.

Woah $44k. That’s crazy. Buy my perfect 1990 for $20k and drop a new motor in it and you’re still cheap, especially after you sell the 3f.

$20k for a 3F truck is about $8-10k over priced.
