Im not sure how Rolling Coal in a Cummins and Clean Cruiser Project is a matchup......

but I’m sure Cummins needs a better P.R. Firm like CCP to clean up its image. ;)

Cool 3B !

im thinking about starting something similar with Trump called the CPP- Clean Pornstar Project.

Howdy bugsnbikes,

That is a 1979 B. A few less horsies under the VC than the 3b, but just as bulletproof if not more... I love the simplistic design of it. It’s the only diesel engine I’ve seen that works on vacuume. Gotta love a purely mechanical engine...

The Clean Cruiser Project is not a P.R. firm. If it were I would have a lot more money in my pocket, and I wouldn’t be worried about paying for these 15 units at state college... We are two guys who love land cruisers, and the land on which we drive them.

The R2.8 will get roughly 25-30mpg, which is extremely efficient when compared to original F1/2 or Chevy small blocks installed in many FJs.

Also, Cummins has made huge strides in sustainability and corporate responsibility In the past 10 years. They were ranked the 60th most sustainable company in America this year.

Cummins Honored for Sustainable Practices | Cummins Inc.

Obviously, we aren’t “coal rollers.”

We are mainly interested in having a good time while educating recreational vehicle users about carbon neutrality, and how they can offset their carbon emissions. Vehicles are a nessesary part of our economy. Recreationally, they transport people to beautiful and remote locations where, hopefully, they gain a greater respect for the planet. We hope to pull individuals from both side of the isle a little closer to the middle...

Also, we will likely be utilizing a heavy biodiesel blend in these engines to keep it extra clean

toyota 3b - rebuilt by hand (your hand)

cummins r2.8- made in China - new (possibly child labor/ substandard environmental practices abound/ sustainability in question)

‘reuse’is always more sustainable than ‘new’ ....

And I would wager the 3b is far more sustainable in a trip scenario than the r2.8. One is a proven pack mule of an engine - the other- Not so much.

Good luck welding that plastic oil pan in Central America.

Stating that your b > r2.8 should help the sale-cause!

Not sure selling your b is a good move if u r heading south of the border......but the r2.8 will make it a more challenging adventure with lots of stories than a trusty b that will start-get u there n back-no muss-no fuss.!!! ;)

Always trolling for an argument ... you just have to try to ignore him like the rest of us...GLWS, looks like a nice engine rebuild.
