Fuel Tank hose/Evap line???

my understanding of how the system worked was there was some resistance both directions, but also to allow for differential pressures, and aid in fuel recovery. I bought one from SOR a few years back...I'll bet that any toyota in the eras compatible(75-87 at least) would have one...might hit a pick and pull...look in the sail panels and trunks;)

I know there was a similar check valve plumbed in-line on the '76. I replaced it a couple of times, as it would start making a racket. Seemed to solve the problem for awhile, then it would randomly return. It was ~$15, so after 30 years not too far from what Toyota wants now when you think about it.

This also makes me wonder if all the check valves in the fuel system on the 77s -- I'm guessing at least two -- were the same P/N or different?

Pablo has the easiet fix, if it will reach, I am just going to connect and go. Or splice if needed. I don't have rear panels for now, so I can always go back and install the check valve if absolutely necessary. Thanks for the help.
