Now that I have a good carb and the proper throttle linkage I'm trying to put my smoggable pig back together. The PO had a Rochester rigged in place.

Here's my question: The Rochester had a single fuel line into it. The '76 and later Toyota Carbs have an intake line and return line (both metal). Where does the return line route to?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be even better. I have both metal lines from a junk engine but I don't know where the end of the return line should be connected.

Thanks,
Norm

Howdy! Mine originally had all that. When I dropped in the 350, I shortened the return line so that it went straight to the fuel pump's 3rd line. The original hard line was mounted right next to the fuel supply line from the tank to the pump all the way down the inboard side of the right side frame rail. I think it goes all the way back behind the axle that way. I will go look in the morning. John

on your passenger side frame you should have 3 steel lines, one crosses over to the driver side but 2 of those terminate right under the firewall (near the slave cylinder) those are your supply return lines. my rig's return line went from the carb to the hard line on the frame, fuel pump not unvolved and it did use the two steel lines you aquired that bolt to the front of the engine.

What I have so far.

75 so it should be the same.
