FST Gurus… will this windshield channel work? (1 Viewer)

Trying to figure out if the windshield channel I have on the truck currently will work with an OEM soft top?

The OEM setups I have it will not work. The front edge has a heavy cord sewn in the top and slides in the channel from the side.

The one you have looks like a bikini top rail. There's usually a flat plastic strip that fits it that channel. Like previous poster mentioned, the oem soft tops, and repros, used a round cord that slides into a channel from the side.

Here's a pic of my old `73 fst channel. This was one of the Pakistan repro oem tops/bows.
