Front suspension Question- Specifically Springs and Upper perch under tension?

looks like the standard OME 2" suspension kit (not BP-51) reuses the stock upper perch. so is the unit under tension?

I.e. can I disassemble it at home and swap the stock perches to the OME kit and vice versa?



Any instructional posts or Vids would be great !

this is for a 2017 if it matters

looks like I can answer my own question - Yes it is under tension.. so you need a spring compressor to disassemble.
