hard to find custom welding carts like that, must be a limited edition one off version. ;)

bumper looks good.

Great work! I wonder how that style would look on my second gen 4Runner?

Bomar, any interest?

Thanks my brothas!

I already got a chance to try it out on the new year's ride. Heckler was stuck on some rocks in a river and I got to winch him out. Worked like a champ!

The clearance is great, too. The wings never once got in the way.

Where'd ya get the steel? And would you like to assist me in building my front bumper for the tow rig?

I got it from Southern Steel on Dunlap. I bought a 20' x 6" x 3/16" for $55. I also used some leftover 8" x 1/4" that I had laying around.

I reckon I could help you, but it might be a while before I'm ready to cut out big pieces with the angle grinder. That sh!t got old quick! Got a plasma cutter?

I got a pair of beefy recovery mounts for sell, Steve...

I bought two pairs 'cuz I thought I'd also fab a rear bumper, but there's a DIY kit I'll probably do when the time comes.

That seems like a decent price.

Matter of fact I do. I just need to match my 220V receptacle to the plug.

I may be interested. Bring 'em to the meet next week if you make it. Otherwise, just PM me some info I guess.

Good work, looks great! Hopefully you won't have to test out your weld strengths in real life! :D

You gonna make it out Thursday to show me these? Are they the same as your front ones?

I can't make it Thursday. I'll be at home with the chirrens. They are the same as the front. Swing by if you want.

Cameron, that looks awesome!!! I just got the same winch and am going to be doing something similar + a light bar.

What thickness of metal did you use?

Thanks! I've been pleased with the winch so far. I wish it was faster, but it sure beats being stuck!

It's mostly 3/16". I used some 1/4" that I already had when I started on it. If I was doing it again, I'd use all 3/16. Much easier to work with with my limited tools.
