drive plates, right?
not sure if 80 series work, but I kinda thought they did.
my 82 fj40 came with drive plates.....but I am keeping them for sentimental reasons. Makes me wonder, did the port just chuck em all the trash when they swamped on the optional hubs?

Hard to say, I think the dealers took them off and offered the locking hubs for a price and use the plates as door stops. I remember having at least five set of these at one time gave them all away. Working with an older gent I met (Nam vet) who has a 76 FJ40 that we just rebuilt the front axle for and he had one locking hub that is wasted. Anyway he use's the 40 on his ranch (no license plates) and nowhere else so he just needs to go back to the plates as he is on a fixed income and we are trying to help keep the cost down. Had it since new.
Coarse or fine spline? I think they changed around then.
