Sounds like you guys had a blast! I'm looking forward to more pictures.

Hopefully I'll sort through all my medical issues and make it next time!!

Gary, any more pics of the TTORA run? How did the 80 do among the Tacos/trucks?

Well that is long drama filled story. We have never had any issues on Miller in the past with Tacoma's and 4Runner's but we had some newbies out there that were not set up correctly.

The trail was almost easy for the 80...the 1st time. Later that night I had to run to Bakersfield to get parts for a truck and go back down at night. The repair failed and I towed a '92 truck up the last 1.5 miles of Miller - not so easy this time. :D

I can't imagine having to strap someone up for 1.5 miles of that. I had a hard enough time strapping Ian up 25 feet of it. I learned a lot about recovery that day, though I ultimately failed. I really need to buff up on recovery techniques and get some additional equipment. If Ian's 40 hadn't magically started up again, I think we would have been there a lot longer.

You would not want to imagine it. The part that made it more special is it was 2am. :cheers:

Crap. You're right. I keep forgetting. I told my wife to remind me to do it, and she forgot. I should divorce her ass for forgetting. Inexcusable. My wife, I mean.
