Glad you guys had a good time.
Any other pics besides 3 of the same obstacle/truck? That's coming up the final hill climb from the creek to Alamo mtn right?
Jona took a BUNCH of pics, so hopefully Shahram will post a few up.
I'm hoping to get the pics from Jonas here in the next few days. I'll post 'em up as soon as I get my hands on them.

Gary, any more pics of the TTORA run? How did the 80 do among the Tacos/trucks?

Thread hijack - nice new avatar Benedict Arnold!!!

Well that is long drama filled story. We have never had any issues on Miller in the past with Tacoma's and 4Runner's but we had some newbies out there that were not set up correctly.
The trail was almost easy for the 80...the 1st time. Later that night I had to run to Bakersfield to get parts for a truck and go back down at night. The repair failed and I towed a '92 truck up the last 1.5 miles of Miller - not so easy this time.![]()
Yeah the last stretch of the trail is tough to strap someone up. I remember watching a CJ one year tow a heavy Rangie up that.... was rough!
** waiting patiently to see more pics![]()
I can't imagine having to strap someone up for 1.5 miles of that. I had a hard enough time strapping Ian up 25 feet of it. I learned a lot about recovery that day, though I ultimately failed. I really need to buff up on recovery techniques and get some additional equipment. If Ian's 40 hadn't magically started up again, I think we would have been there a lot longer.
