Very nice build. Would be interesting to think "what do I need for africa" vs cali or moab. Could be more like OZ.

I don't know OZ, Cali or Moab neither. 2 pics to show you the landscape you will find in Morocco or Libya. During the day, the sand will be more or less easy to drive.

An air compressor and tyre deflators are most welcomed in Africa.

Just arrived this morning, the CTEK MXS 7.0 battery charger ; a good way to have accurate diagnosis during battery charging.

True. I think it comes mainly from the Paris Dakar rally experience. It´s useful reading a roadbook, measuring distances between waypoints. I agree, all GPS and navigation softwares are able now to do that and much more.
 
Manual tranny = no transmission cooler = area for intercooler
