There is an issue! Oil change shop stripped the drain plug so it currently cannot accept a bolt. I thought that someone might be able to modify/repair it instead of me tossing it in the trash. It is steel.

Free to the first person who claims it and is willing to pay actual shipping. It probably weighs 3-4 pounds so it won’t cost a lot to ship.

Are you sure it's stripped. Toyota make plug bolt with softer metal. Often times threads can be cleaned out and new plug installed.
 
Definitely stripped. Not a thread left. My mech hoped to put a heliocoil in it but it appeared to have been rethreaded at some point as there was not enough material to do it again.
