Hey Spike Strip, I pulled the igniter and a few other items I needed. I had just sent another member my spare igniter so I figured this was cruiser karma paying me back. If you need one, I'm willing to send it out to you. I was planning on keeping the carb as a parts carb, it's in pretty rough shape as was the rest of the motor. I haven't pulled it apart yet but if you need anything specific let me know. All of the diaphragms checked good. I wasn't trying to step on anybody's toes, just saw the post a couple of days ago so swung by yesterday morning. I don't pull parts to try and make money, just to ensure they don't end up in a crusher. I met @bdruff while I was out there, good guy.
I had the same impression, so nice but so F'd up at the same time. That's funny about the marker lights, I had lined the bezels and a few other pieces up neatly on the seats as they weren't cracked or anything. I had talked to @bdruff And he said someone was coming down for body parts so I left all that stuff.
Found a 89' in WA, pulled several parts off it. Went back last week to get a few more and it was gone... The corporate office wanted to get rid of all the "old" cars. They crushed it!
No worries, and thanks for the offer. The carb looked pretty newish in the pix, anyway. Cruiser Karma works. Glad the stuff went to MUD members and just didn't end up on fleabay. It'll all prolly end up at the Bakersfield swap meet anyway!
Not sure what happened to that motor, maybe the PO never changed the oil...ever. Looked terrible inside there. The Air cleaner, valve cover and other parts were gone by the time I got there. Thing was used and abused for sure.

On the 60??? I left it there just 3 hours ago!!!
I found a guy here in town who might be parting out his 85 60. Tried to tell him to post up in the calssies but I don't think he understands me. I'm going to check the doors and bezels in the morning. @gregnash @61LC @4Cruisers

the tub itself seems OK in spots but questionable in others. I'll get a look at this other one tomorrow and let everyone who's already talked to me know what's up, but then after that, I'm bowing out. not trying to do horse trading in tech; just trying to help out on a time sensitive situation. If I see anything good, I'll let ya know!

I think I saw the headlight doors/chrome sitting on the driver seat...could use a psgr side headlight door and that wiper reservoir and washer fluid motor combo if anyone's there.
