The kicker to the stolen truck story was that he attempted to report it as stolen to his insurance company, and the insurance inspector showed him the border video clip of him driving over the border and the inspector saying " This you..?" His claim was denied..

My son’s friends parents just took their 100 series LC to TJ to for a paint job and I asked him to get more details on the experience. Ive been following these guys on IG for the past six months.

I don't think that's the place that painted my 4Runner about 25 years ago. If not it looked pretty similar.
They did a great job.
Cut out all rust and replaced with metal. Also painted the steel wheels and brush guard. All for what I seem to recall was about $1k
