Found a good heater hose replacement for external heater (2 Viewers)

Well done! I'll be picking these up for my 62 for when I do the cooling system work (hopefully this summer, but as soon as I can either way). I still need to find a simple U shaped hose to install as a bypass just upstream of the hard lines to the rear heater so I can pull those off and recondition them. I'm hoping the rust hasn't penetrated too deep to allow my buddy to blast and powder coat the outsides of them. Both sets to my knowledge are NLA for the 62, or else I'd just buy them.

I didn't notice that post until after I posted my reply, but that's more than likely what I'll use.

Don't quote me on this, but ... I think the Gates 19038 I got was S-shaped and needed cut down to fit the heater return run in the back/top of the motor. If I recall, I think I was lacking a 2nd one of the 19038 - if I had cut off the longer leg and kept just the S-shaped part it would have worked for one of those heater hoses kind of above the dizzy/starter area. I'm fuzzy on that so...
