@Beau Diddly

1997 Land Cruiser special edition

Is this they one you had issues with months ago?

I'd like to know! Anyone willing/able to take a look at it? Interested.

I'm 2nd in line right now. Someone from NC contacted her 5 min after ad posted! She is 5th owner and has had it for almost 5 years. MacIntosh did a bunch of work to it in last 2 years to include rebuilding front end, head gasket and brakes replaced!
Transmission was replaced at the expense of Tire Kingdom because the tech installed one tire of a different size when she purchased a full set 4 years ago!

Update, I am now first in line when she returns from traveling early next week. I may be coming down to look it over and possibly buy next week. Anyone available to be another set of eyes and ears with 80 experience?

Jeff, I'll be back Saturday the 10th, if it will be after that, hit me up.

Wish I was in the market. That thing is COOL!

Yeah - Alex refers to it as his 'poverty pack' land cruiser. I've wheeled with him before; it's really cool to see a 'basic', highly functional off road vehicle at a time when most people are pursuing lots of mods.

Looking for used rock sliders for 2003 100 series.
Hey Robert, used ones will be hard to fine, but keep looking. The 100s are still pretty new to the Mud world, so not a lot of parting out. You could check the "Classifieds - Body/Exterior/Armor" section of the main forum, but I would also suggest going to UC and ONSC board, introducing yourself (you've met several already at HC) and asking. While you're waiting, you may want to window shop for new ones as your plan B. Good luck.

Anybody have any interest in a FDE Scar 16? I'd really be interested in a Slee Short Bus bumper if somebody had one laying around.

Thanks Tim, I'll do that. If I can't source used sliders I have narrowed new sliders to Metal Tech, White Knuckle, and Cruising Off Road. All 3 have the kick out at the rear but the COR appears to have a better frame mounting system which wraps the frame from below and the step is angled upwards; I think the flat step will better suit me.

FWIW, I have white knuckle on a 100 series and my 62. On the 62, I emailed White Knuckle and asked for him to flatten out the angle a bit so they would be easier to step on and they turned out great.

The 100 series sliders have seen trail use and held up really well.

Appreciate the tried and true advice; do you have the tube, rear, or full diamond plate slider?

I think I found the perfect 80 for @Beau Diddly

Diesel, factory lockers, NO BRUSH GUARD!

Diesel Toyota Land Cruiser 5.9L Cummins
You had me until I saw the $36K...ouch. Tell that fellow good luck with that. And BTW, the nomenclature has changed, it is no longer a brush guard, its a Jeremy. I've already changed it in wikipedia.
