The SEE - what a terrible contraption. You really, really don't want that thing. The leg room is terrible; no way @Beau Diddly could fit inside and @CharlestonG8R is probably too short to jump in. They bounce up and down all over the damn road too and you're lucky if you can hit 50 mph going downhill. My first ride in a SEE is still one of the scariest things I've ever experienced. Rode from Timmonsville to Ft Jackson several times as a newly minted 2LT.
I may be up for those Thule mounts. I bought my current ones for my Honda Accord, but they are too short to use on the 40... I'll measure my feet and see if mine are bigger and/or if 8" feet work.I have a few random items for sale if anyone is interested: Uniden CB Radio and magnet antenna. 3500 KW gas generator (low hours but it continues to be a pain in the butt to start for some reason - probably because it never gets used. I put new carburettor on it about a year ago. Also medium Thule foot mounts for roof bars. I think they're the 8" feet if I remember correctly. I had these on my high-roof 61 but they were too tall for my new 81. Should fit any LC's with gutters (I know they'll fit 60's and 80's) Make me an offer on any of the above if interested. Yep, I have them, and they should fit. Plus, my bars are too short for the 40. I also have 2 bike racks for the Thule system if you can use those? Also, I may still have kayak racks... Not sure...I may be interested in you Honda Accord ones, I'd like to see if they'll fit a VW if you still have them.
Ha! As a 2LT in 1986 I was nabbed by the supply SGT. at Furman Univ. to go get a couple 5 tons from the SC NG and drive them cross town for an ROTC weekend event.....only because I could drive a stick! Thought I was going to kill someone!

Okay, lemme run out tonight and check the mounts I have. Pretty sure I will take them, just need to meet with Mark... But will verify for sure tonight.I'm interested in mounts if Jeremy doesn't want them. Been looking for a set for the troopy and those would be perfect due to high roof. I'll call you offline about generator as well.
