77 for the 45

Fender most important. I think apron will straighten once unbolted and persuaded.

Have read this am from no particular reliable source (gen classified mudsters) that all years work, just that 70 had the overflow bottle mounts provisions.

Reasonably true ?
Or a year range i should be searching for?

Any Opinions or experiance with the gozzard fiberglass replacements? Theres a pair avail currenty about half price of used OEM

Not sure i want to go there but they dont look terrible and i already have the roof and bezel from them.

Thanks David. I need the fender most. Hoping rhe apron will straighten with some influence. Dont hold on my account but ill keep it in mind.

Wanted an early 100 series budget around 5K high miles ok as long as mechanically sound. Wife wants to add a 100 to the fleet already contacted this guy 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser but he is unwilling to negotiate right now let me know if you run across anything.
That is probably a great price with that mileage and if well taken care of! Are you ok with LX470?

Don't worry about a head gasket, there are ways around that :)

Seriously though, although head gaskets are an issue I would not make having had it replaced a criteria for an 80. The reality is that all these engines are getting tired and if not well maintained through its life will need attention or replacement at some point. My wife's 95 has had the dreaded wrist pin knock (or light piston slap) for over two years now. We hop in it and drive 2.5 hours to the Barn without thought.

She has made the final decision to just stick with a 100 she wants rear ac for the dogs plus we already have an 80 but if a unicorn deal comes up on an 80 we might pull the trigger it doesnt have to be right now she just wants one in the next couple of months. Her daily driver is an 88 BMW 528E with over 300k on the clock and that will need a rebuild sooner rather than later there was a huge gap in maintenance history when we bought it and replaced the trans as soon as we got it but we got it for dirt cheap with an amazing interior and body and the motors in them are pretty bullet proof but its getting tired and the replacement for it will be a 100 for her. I work from home so my daily driver will be the 80 when we get it back form Marshall then her weekend rig will be her 60 when that gets back from Marshall (seeing a trend here).

Got any pics of the 528-E?

This is the first day we brought it home. It was just a project car but my wife has fallen in love with it but we need something a little newer hence the 100 we are undecided if we will sell this or keep it but the fleet is growing more and more.

A 100 would be a good daily driver.
