Are there any 40 owners still running drum brakes? I have a set of (NIB) brake cylinders from JT Outfitters for the driver's side. The price is pretty much free.

Some other things I have no need for: Oem radio out of the '97, some 80 springs still collecting dust, Hella 500 lights (the glass is broken on one).

Hello there, my name is Machina King, and i was referred to HDC by another 4runner owner.:) I blew the engine in my 90 4runner V6 3.0L 3vze 4x4 and replaced it with a new reman engine. The mechanics had me order the wrong part, as they told me i needed a timing component kit to complete the installation of new long block. It turned out that i needed a false water pump! Now i have a NIB "Gates Timing Component Kit" for 2nd gen. that's useless to me. The kit includes belt, tensioner, and pulley. If any of you guys need it, i'd get rid of it for $80 or possible trade for other parts!? I paid $160 for it and its never been installed! I love my Runner and i'm willing to let it go to another Toyota lover!;) If you or any other members are interested, call me at (231) 313-0148 Thanks and have a joyous day!!!!

Mike, I think it does, but not sure. IIRC the PO said he took it out just for a newer stereo. I left him a voice mail tonight, but if I don't hear back from him, I can plug it in when I switch out the current stereo to my other one and see if it works. FYI though, Evan PM'd me first, but I don't know if the '97 is compatibale with the '93 setup.

Thanks Daisy. I have an untested head unit from a '98 hundy. My CD skips so I play tunes through the iPhone using a cassette adapter. I will test the one that I have before I take one from you or Rudy.

FYI, Bonnie and I ran into Sara in Durango. She owns your white truck and has built it out nicely. Sliders, front and rear bumpers, rack, and 37's. She said the rings seated and it burns no oil. She obviously loves the truck. :D

Does anyone have a OEM roof rack for an 80 they dont need? I had mine on mud, sold it and never took it off of the classified section. Of course it is wanted now and I dont have it!

I talked to the PO, he said he was "having problems" with the CD. But a problem for him is a hiccup or a sneeze (I have known him for 20 some years now). I can see what the " problem" is when I put the other radio and HAM radio into the double bin.

Saw this in Bernalillo... called the number and the owner is asking $900, down from $1500. He said it was a 1965 1 1/2 ton

there's a ton of space in that thing! I've seen a few of those in the south valley. namely at BMC on Coors. it would make a good camping trailer.
 
Stock front bumper components from my 2007 FJC have been sitting in my garage for nearly 5 years. FREE to whoever can take it off my hands!
 
I saw that rig on Eagle Ranch last week. I was impressed by it's height and the SAS $$$.
