Hi,
I found you on the High Desert Cruisers site, and wanted to touch base on a vehicle. I own a 40th anniversary Land Cruiser (with the locking diffs). Bought it a while back for my wife to drive, but she wants to switch to something smaller, cuz she is mostly an in-town driver. S, I'm looking to sell it, and thought your site might be a good place to get it in the right hands. It does a few repair needs. I will list here as best I know:
Interior is really nice, the leather etc is is great shape.
Driver's side window motor is weak.
There isa power steering fluid leak.
A couple of dents, but nothing major.
The hood looks like a previous owner tried to paint it with a spray can (btw, color is dark green).
Wood-grain accents need to be replaced (kit available on ebay).
I keep betting a check engine code due to the EGR, but my mechanic friend says it is really an air intake issue.
Mileage is 180k.
All the bells and whistles: moon roof, running boards, leather, tow package, etc.
With a little TLC, this wold be an awesome rig, it just isn't the rig my wife wants, and I have to have a pickup, so I can't keep it for me. If you know someone in the club who is looking, or if you think it would be worthwhile to list on your site, please let me know. thanks so much,

Running boards, rear mud flaps, center caps and 40th anniversary 3rd row seats.
All came out of my new 80. center caps need cleanup/paint. Everything else is very nice!

I don't have running boards, mud flaps or 3rd row seats on or in my 80. What kind of offer are you looking for? Wait, I think there is a reason I took all that off too, can't remember though...

It needs a little cleaning but is otherwise a solid vehicle. 350 SBC mated to a H55F. Four inch suspenion lift with one inch body lift. Bumpers, sliders, rear ARB, winch. OBA. Dual battery set-up. Anyone interested can PM me for a disussion on price and other details. Thanks
