A few questions though. Ive only got about 3500 to spend. I KNOW that wont get me a decent FJ40 (I think?) but will that be able to get me a decent 60 (what I really want) or a 4runner??

This 55 has many years of trail fun left in her. comes with boxes of spares, military tires, tire chains, tow hooks, winch platform, skid plates on all spring mounts. needs front windshield, All other glass in good shape, good heater , new exhaust and tube header. full basket roof rack. good gas tank and fuel lines, rebuilt starter. $1800 or best offer. This is a Two owner FJ60. I purchased this rig back in December from it's primary owner. She purchased it from the dealer, and kept every single record/receipt of everything done to it from day one. I have EVERY receipt, including what I've done to it. I even have the original window sticker!
**This rig spent 7 years in L.A.** They body is in very nice shape. There is some minor rust bubbles starting here and there, but nothing major. I would call this a 99% rust free truck. The paint is in good shape. The body is very straight, and the tail gate/hatch are virtually rust free! The truck even has all 4 bumper caps. The frame has some surface rust, but not major rot.
**This truck has NEVER seen anything but a dirt road!**
Interior is awsome. The headliner and dash look brand new. The driver side seat has the usual tear, but all the other seats are very clean. Interior carpet looks awsome.
Mechanically the truck is sound. Here is a list of what I did to it in the last couple months:
Suspension: 3 inch custom lift, including new u bolts and greasable shackles
Brakes: Totally overhaul of front brakes including new rotars, calipers and pads
Tune up: Plugs, points-cap/rotar, fuel filter, air filter, oil change, tranny fluid changed, and both diffs.
33x 10.50 BFG All Terrains (used, but in awsome shape)
**Everything works on this 60**
Including front light washers, rear wiper/defrost/and window washer
A/C works awsome and blows cold!
Newer CD player in dash with new speakers/remote
Rear heat works awsome
Interior lights, front and back work great
**many other things, uncluding exhaust and clutch have been done in the last 2 1/2 years**
Problems/ what it needs:
Small exhaust leak, possibly a leaky EGR
Shocks (which I may do before the truck is sold)
Idle is a bit rough, but I still have not adjusted the timing yet.
Has a small oil leak, which looks to be oil pan gasket. (the oil pan was replaced 2 years ago)

Anyways, Its going to be a DD with light offroading on the weekends. I just cant drive too far out, because I cannot drive manual yet, and my Dad has to come with me :-D
