Looking for a 60 or 62

My Dad is looking for a stocker 60 or 62. preferably an older one so he can workon it himself, take out transhission himself etc. he is looking for a manual. would be good if it was located in close to the denver area not looking for out of state but can be an option. not to much rust, nothing not repairable. possibly a small lift. 2.5 maybe.

Come get this thing out of my yard. Best for parts, was running until I took off the EFI plenum.
Nice steel flatbed with headache rack and sides. Body good, not much rust. Great frame. Used in a tough truck race in an attempt to kill it. It lives, and drove away under it's own power.

31" tires (marginal), needs right rear wheel bearing and ebrake adjusters. Best to just toss in a new rear axle.

Took off the EFI plenum to figure out why it was running sporatically.

New Batt/ fuel filter/ changed master, and a bunch of other crap.

$400 obo, may trade for something. I just want the damn thing gone.

this last year was the first time i'd been,definitly going next year.
better prepaired for sure...
 
How does it run on the highway? In other words would it make to Denver along I70???
What were your thoughts for desmogging it?
