Sometimes it causes the price to dip, believe it or not. It varies from region to region, but some have found LX 450s for less than Land Cruisers.

So -- $10k - $12k and how many miles is your max?

I would like to keep the miles under 150K and really prefer one closer to 100K. I found a couple down south on autotrader that I am going to call on today. Seems like there are quite of few 80's being let go by the old yuppie crowd now. Thanks for the help Doug.

The white 94 is at a lot off of South Saunders Street across from "We do Trucks", don't know the name of it or their asking price. It's on the right before a Exxon station I believe if your headed into Raleigh.

The green 97, goto 40 East to highway 42, take a right, about a half of a mile on the right look for Central Carolina preowned I believe, just past Waffle House that will be on Left. The highway 42 exit is the next exit after highway 70/Garner split.

This is a clean used car lot, the dude I spoke with there is from Venezuela and has some knowledge of Cruisers. On another subject, he did say it would probably be relatively easy and less expensive to import diesel Cruisers from Costa Rica; compared to where else I don't know.

Man, I want a diesel to push my LV. Looking for a whole truck.. dont care about year or the body... but the drive train needs to be functional.

Im just thinking that I need something that runs / drives... with a bad frame and rusted body...

I am in Seattle... and can tow it out of yer yard.

Looking for the right vehicle... shoot after I get everything I need out of it, You can have the shell/frame back! I just need it to be working running driving when I tear into it... as I dont have time to troubleshoot too much.
