Thanks!
Maybe I can get the A440 and xfer case from him... Middel Fangers!

I thin we should probably all sell our cruisers and buy Is-lose-lose-s

LOL! let's all buy flat windshield model Iz-lose- looses.

That guy buying a 3FE with a hole in the block.... And it still RUNNING?! LOL!
Long live the 3FE!!!! Love that engine.

Moral to this story? I just realized... It ruined my rotor... Which means, not only do I have to replace that... But BOTH rotors and pads...
Replace rotor, gotta replace the pads. Pads come in sets of the entire axle. And even when replacing rotors you should always replace those in pairs even when they don't come that way.
This faux paux just got more hairy.

Pads are of the lifetime warranty autozone variety. You want me to take them in and see if they will swap them out?

I'll giv'em to you for your needs... I'm enroute to pick my Hunnerd pads and FJ80 rotors right now...

Anybody that hasn't done the 100 pad upgrade is missing out on a real bang for the buck upgrade.

spindle, hub and bearings and hub are installed!
For whatever reason one of the hunnerd pads wouldn't seat all the way in... prolly too much gunk. Now worries. Bout to go get grease/towels/brake fluid and run to the shop and tear down both sides and pull "bearfs"...
this thing gone ride next weekend at Stony!

Previous owners: any idea what this film type substance is on the windows? I thought I'd be able to get it off with deep cleaning... I was wrong. Trying to figure out what it is... And how to address it.

What is this cleaning you speak of.

My junk stays clean. Broseph, when fixing junk, a clean part is an easier part. I pressure washed the axles and difs today at lunch. Ran it through the washer. Tried cleaning the outside if the windows.
I typically like to be able to see out of the windows unobstructed. Just curious what this is on the windows.

I plan on getting under it as soon as I can lay in pools of water. But right now, 40 degrees is just too cold.

No idea. Maybe from the high school girls writing on it with shoe polish when Nick owned it? What is this cleaning you speak of.

Zing!!!! Young College Girls...totally different age group...

What film is it you speak of?

I have no clue. A buddy of mine and I detailed the hell out of the paint, but we know better than to wax glass. Only thing I'd venture a guess is that after polishing and waxing and buffing and everything that rinsing it may have streaked some of the residue down onto the glass? Even then, I don't know. I cleaned it with Stoner Invisible Glass spray and never noticed it.

Just cause they're in College now doesn't mean they weren't in High School when they wrote on it. Don't forget you brought your (younger than you) girlfriend when you picked up the truck.
