huh? The windows are tinted, it's not on the inside. I can get it off if I rub hard enough with my finger. So I know it's on the outside. Just trying to determine what it is, that way I can get it off with something the internets recommends.

That's what I was getting at is that you're sure it's on the outside. Iv seen the inside of a windshield get really, can't see through, dirty.

Does it smear when it comes off? roll into globs like glue does? Or does it just stop being there, like when using windex on regular smudged windows?
