Some Fj25's came with a folding rear bow design ... Not like this one however... Concept is there but overall different

Yes the rear upper door has no support ... It can be rolled up or opened like an ambi door

From what I gathered yes that bracket is for the collapsed bow to sit... There is a strap to hold it down as well AFAIK

The vinyl is very much like other toyota vinyls... A coated fabric

Lot of cool stuff here. To reproduce and sell a bow setup like that I imagine you'd have to charge 1000 bucks. My Kayline top bows fold down like that, but in a much simpler fashion.

I made my own FST to be very reminiscent on the rear door setup of the folding bows rig... So much easier to get in and out

By chance today I picked up my car from Toyota dealer in Hannover. The owner of this dealership has a car with FST soft top - he bought the main oem components in 1992 (only the lock is not original).
I was shocked!

Man if u had a company duplicate your top you could sell quite a few of them. That's why I have a aftermarket top-it can be folded down.
