What are the power requirements for the event. As in how many amps are needed to supply lights and what else?
CC
Chris, are you going to handle the book keeping for the event?

EC: Bodean said he could help with the art portion of the shirt maybe...perhaps if we feed him our idea he can work it out of Todd is unavailable. Otherwise, I have a few art folks here at the TV station that might be able to help.

Does any body have any idea about what we'll need for lighting and other electrical equipment at GFNWTAC? If anyone can shed any light on this at all please do so. Once we know what we have to run I'll determine a generator size and see if we can locate one that is of adquate size?
Lights-how many?
Band?
Is there anything else?
Also, is anybody working on a schedule of events, can we post it so everybody can see it?CC

Craig - there has been some discussion about a band, I'm not sure how much juice they would need. I would think some lighting and a PA system for a "stage" area to do the raffle and dinner Friday. Maybe let the RV folks recharge camper batteries during the day ;)

Events: (this is what has been discussed so far..... but my memory sux)

Wed - staff arrive to setup
Thur - Vehicle inspection, registration, wheel, night runs (easy and moderate)
Fri - Vehicle Inspection, Registration, Wheel, BBQ dinner, raffle ?band?
Sat - Vehicle Inspection, Registration, Wheel, clean up
Sun - staff clean up and tear down

Chris,
A 6000 should power about anything, probably including a band amplifiers unless something really big was brought in. It would probably be worthwhile to check the muffler if the generator is very old.

Oh I'm sure we all got old mufflers lying around we could just clamp on and double muffle it?
I've got an vehicle inspection tent and registration can occur there as well? My initial thoughts are signin at the head of the park, (use easy up) have them sign the park wavier up there and direct them to parking and camping from there.. Do event registration down below where we'll have the raffle etc and set up our main headquarters down there.

I'd suggest we let Ron & his wife take care of any/all waiver's they want, and agree to have the sign-in and tech-in areas down below in the campground.

We'll need to put together an pre-arrival information packet as well including:

Map to the park
Map within the park
Alternate Lodging sites/locations
A strong suggestion to drop trailers at the office parking area!
Etc.

Who's good a writting letters beg'n folks for free stuff?

I know I'm gonna need 60 - 90 days to get Coleman to pony up.

IIRC Pit Bull Tires are out'a St. Louis, maybe a good contact as well. Been look'n at them to replace a couple of SX's
