I have a 1991 FJ80 which was desmogged before I bought it. The car has the usual symptoms which scream for the 3FE tune up written by @jonheld and I decided to start with the vacuums and ventilation hoses. Clearly I can see some obvious mistakes and missing hoses in the current setup and in this regard I would like some help to fix them.

I am mostly interested in the vacuums on the passenger side and the distributor ventilation.

Attached I am providing a diagram which I think should represent the correct routing. Each of the hoses and their pipes are marked with the same color to indicate their relation. I would really appreciate any help to confirm the routing so I can proceed with the replacement of the hoses.

Thank you for your time :)

P.S. Probably I should start a Build/Maintenance thread.

Pretty much the only "vacuum" lines I have on my desmogged '91 are the distributor (hose from airbox to distributor, then to a connector on the right hand firewall), the fuel pressure regulator (from the manifold to the vacuum switching valve to the pressure regulator), and the brake booster hose. Other than that, I think I eliminated everything. There are of course the lines to the ISC valve, the PCV valve, and the valve cover breather, but it seems like those should be obvious. HTH!

make sure your intake manifold is vacuum leak free. The hardlines underneath the manifold can be capped off or left alone. Make sure you capped off the 2 nipples on top of the manifold.

Thank you guys for the feedback. I am attaching the current vacuum setup.

The ones marked in red are eliminated or (in case they are pipes) are capped with 3mm silicone caps. The Fuel pressure regulator VSV is currently left (intact). The green hoses are currently attached but there are clear mistakes (the magenta lines at the center of the diagram). This is the reason I decided to post the current thread because I would like to fix the issues and hopefully improve it to the current best practices.

Again thank you for your time and feedback.
