I use my Ram mount on the left side of the windshield and haven’t been able to find a charger that fits the size of the FJ62 fog light blank. Anyone find one that is a clean fit? Photo shows the size different between the standard 62 blank charger and the fog light blank itself. The fog light blank is about 1cm wider.

I tried to find one of these that fit as well but never could. I ultimately went with a USB charger that says it was for some Toyota van. I cut the center of one of the blanks out so I could fit the charger inside the opening in the blank. I hot glued the charger to the blank, then I put the blank in the dash hole. Sort of used the switch blank as a frame for the USB charger. I put some electrical tape around the feet of the blank such that when I pulled USB cords out, the charger did not come with it. Mine had a tendency to do that as the holes in the dash are meant for pushing on for switches, not pulled on so mine would come out of the dash when pulling USB cables out of the charger. HTH

I know this is not what you are looking for with this thread, but thought I would just include what I did for mine here to show what could be done fairly easily. I too would have liked one that just fit without the modification, but this was little effort and I thought it turned out OK. But would like to hear of anyone with ready-made ideas or solutions. HTH.

Does anyone know if a 60 series switch fits in that 62 series slot located on the drivers left hand side?

I think it does. See post 6 below:

Seems to show an FJ60 defrost switch in the left hand slot on an FJ62.

Nice pictures. Thanks for link.

That looks clean - do you have the link for that USB charger? The few I've tried are too long/tall and that one looks like a great fit.

Yeah got it off of Amazon. See here:

Amazon product

I should caution you that it does have a blue LED used to sort of light up where the ports are in the dark. It does not go too well with the vibe of the 60 series I don't think, but its not bad. Not sure if you care about that sort of detail or not. I did have to repair one of the positive leads as it came out of the crimps. Maybe not the greatest build quality but its a simple piece and gets the job done. HTH.

I cut out the correct hole in the blank to mount my dual battery volt meter. Just did some precision dremel work, and it all fit.

Nice. Yeh, saw that one - hoping there is just a plug and play version out there without having to fab it up.

Did you look at the link I posted? Skim past the diy/hack.... it was a link to this:

Awesome @FJACS I use those rockers in my 80 and even one in a standard blank in the 62. I had not seen the catalog link before and way, way, way down at the bottom is the Toyota Small USB Charger that looks like it might work - similar to what @Robert Franzke shared above but having experience with @FloridaFJ80 as a 'Mud vendor I may go this route. I think the measurement for the 62 fog light blank is 25 mm wide, by 33 mm tall and the catalog measurement for the small charger is 23x35 so I might see if I can sink it in the stock blank and make it work. Really appreciate the input gents.

The toyota dash rocker switches in the link are carling switches. Super cheap to buy and wire up your own. waytekwire sells all the parts. You can buy a cheaper crimper on amazon instead of the really expensive crimper.

These are some NON-USA 60 series push button type's i picked up in my last Saudi Spec. region NOS Parts LOT , although this Green

Overdrive is Used , it would make a H#ll of a AUX. switch , its got 12ga gauge Gauge wires pigtail on it ...

I also updated the Bulbs inside to Green color Matching LED's
