I want to gauge interest on a new product I'm looking at releasing for the FJ62. Let me know if this is something that interests you. Once I get production pricing worked out, I'll list them on my website for pre-orders..

It's a center console MOLLE and accessory panel that fits around your shifters in the carpeted area in front of your center console. I've got a few more adjustments to make but I have the first prototype and am happy with the outcome. I'm just going to tweak the shape a little and I'm changing the cup holders to have rubber "fingers" that hold smaller cups/water bottles/cans securely. They will fit bottles up to 3.6" in diameter (my HydroFlask is my largest water bottle) as well as cups with handles. I'm looking at possible rubber mats that could go over the carpet on the center console to protect from spilling. Production units will be powder coated.View attachment 3561965View attachment 3561966View attachment 3561968View attachment 3561972View attachment 3561973
Im anxiously awaiting mine!

Very nice and thanks for not price gouging the hell out of it. I'd love to see something like this for a 70 series.

I wonder how the manual 60 version would fit? @bottombracket check it out.

I would love to order one for my 61, but being that it's a manual AND a right-hand drive, I don't expect you have one available for me. Would that be a correct assumption?
Send me a pic of your center console area. It may fit or maybe it's a mirror image in which case I just need to make the bends in the opposite direction!

I'm uncomfortable saying whether the bracket would fit or not unless someone knows for sure that the center tunnels are the same. The taper on left, rear side has me thinking it will be loose in that area. The bracket is about 16-1/4" wide and mounts about 4" below the top of the tunnel. I wish I had some 61's and 70's nearby to do fit checks with!

I've got the Center Console MOLLE and Accessory Bracket for the 62 shipping now! I think I have 8 units left. Shown below with some of my accessories attached but selling the bracket only. Has a MOLLE pattern on the sides for attaching tact gear and slots in the top for belt clip mounted items. Also features mounting holes for Alien Gear Quick Disconnect mounts for holsters or mounting other accessories. Includes 2 cup holders that will hold anything from a pop can to a full sized Yeti water thermos. Lots of space to add other accessories. Made from 1/8" thick aluminum that is easy to drill if you want to add bolt on accessories or switches. I have a RAM suction cup mount for mounting my tablet for navigation.

60 Series version prototypes are made and will be tested soon for production. I have 1 unit I would sell at a discount to someone willing to test fit and provide constructive feedback so I can make the proper modifications before releasing the production version. That person will receive a production version at no charge to replace the prototype when they are ready to ship. See link above and select "manual transmission" option.

I would buy the manual 60 to try out on my FJ73 (and also test fit on a 60) but the $56 in shipping would kill the good deal.
I'm working on that - the website algorithm for shipping is producing high values for some reason (all my inputs are correct). Maybe I need to fudge the numbers to make shipping more reasonable. Where were you shipping to?

I'm willing to test the manual one on my HJ61.. let me know!
That PTO bump might create some issues - maybe the bracket can be bent to clear or cut out. I only have one available right now and I think there's a buyer for it. I'll let you know when I have more and maybe we can work something out to work around that PTO bump!

I received my NCD center console last week, excellent Comms with Doug at North Cascade Design. I was excited to get this item, my initial impressions, well packed no damage in shipping, its well designed, I popped it right in, my FJ62 is naked no carpet in it, Rhino lined. The finish is way better then the landcruiser is used to. It slipped right in and is very secure even with out attaching it thru provided holes. I did one drive with it the large insulated cup was stable driving down my dirt road to get to the fuel station. Plenty of space to modify to your needs. Im 100 percent satisfied with this purchase.
