Hi all, so I’m overhauling my rear axle, taking it apart piece by piece and cleaning. Then painting everything. My question is, how to you remove the backing plate one all the brake companies components are removed? It looks like there’s a backing plate that attaches to the axle, then another piece all the brake components attach to, and possibly a third piece? I understand I’ll have to tap it off with a dead blow/mallet but just curious what the steps are and if I need to source any parts. Thanks.
