Did you mean 285s?
Mine are 255//80/17 which puts them at 33.1 tall and 10" wide. I like the skinny tall tire. An inch taller than the 255/75/17

@WSOPgold2012 & @Tennessee80 what tire sizes are you guys running on those? Trying to figure out what size to run with OME 2.5-3 lift?
I was running 35x12.5x17 on that wheel. The tires were big for sure. They really only rubbed when I went off road and flexed pretty hard. I am currently running a 16" Tacoma steelie with 1.25" spacer and 315x75x16 tire (on my current rig Dusty) and I like it a bit better. It seems slightly smaller, more like a true 34.

@Hamachi @staggrlee In that pic Tor was running some brake mods on front and an 80 series axle in the rear. So his is a bit wider than stock but I can confirm they fit on a 100% stock.

I found someone with a TRD pro 4Runner that was nice enough to let me test fit one since no one else was running them. Then I ordered 5 from Mr. T.

No spacers required. You just need to newer style lug nuts with the shoulder. Same the current gen 4runner.

@NearJetties … What model and size tires are you running?

Those were BFG KO2. 285/70/R17. They were JK Rubicon takeoffs. The JL rubicon size works too. The nice thing is there is good selection of tires in those sizes and they’re not Load Range E (too stiff for my taste).

Now I’m running the 35x10.5r17. Some rub on the exhaust and front spring hanger at full lock. Nothing a few adjustments didn’t fix.

Does your rig have stock suspension?

ours currently has 16” TRD rims with 1.25” spacers. Doing the knuckles this week and have found that the clearance to the tie rods is almost nonexistent. The rubber boot is making contact with the rim
End goal is to go back to steel with hub caps. Does anyone have an idea where I can find a 17” rim that will accept caps? Have seen pictures in the past but no sources yet.
