Back on the winches - bellview wiring and mount for the contactor. Just gonna drive the rear motor off one of the directional inputs. Will verify rotation next..

The front diff was broke also… the new 3rd. Locker wouldn’t seat.

Had to cut the front diff to get it back to normal. A lot of heat and beat!

I’m a hobby welder.. looks like it’s good enough. I run the torch over the welds, make them red hot and then cool. This is what I found works best for preventing leaks. It’s probably gonna leak anyway.

Bought a whatever this tip is called (brazing tip idk) heated it up to cherry red. Then smacked it with a hammer like I was forging metal knifes. Then took POR 15 and did 3 coats inside and outside.

The bearing puller from HB got one off - but the ring gears side bearing was destroyed. Ordered a new bearing.

Here you can see the RD143 and the RD152. The RD152 is used with c-clips. Did a search and found the replacement parts online. Will not make it to the house before GSMTR.

Counted the ring gear tooth’s to make sure all these diffs have the same ratio.
So what’s going back in? The Pig is all we really care about down here.

Just getting caught up with the posts. Chris and his daughter Nadia stopped by to install their new rock sliders. She is natural welder. Just amazing.
