Wanted FJ40 Metal Tie Down Points for Tool Kit Straps?

The metal tie downs that retain the straps have all but rusted away, I’m wondering if anyone has 4 of these and possibly the mounting hardware? For a 73…the jack mount is all good. Anyone have a pic of everything mounted in the stock 1973 configuration? Trying to clean this area up and stop the rust from spreading.

I have not noticed them on his site, I’m pulling mine today, loosened them last night. I think I can save one, the others are too crusty…

It won't be OEM and I understand the desire - but you can easily use D-rings for this application. All sorts of styles and materials for a couple dollars.

@mattressking normally I’d stay OEM but those look the part. I’ll find some, thanks! Now to find the jack and rods…I stupidly sold mine and it even had the original sticker like yours!

I bought my hardware and strap material from strapworks.com

and used these instructions to make my straps.

@Engineer8000 (and everyone else who cares to know), I cut two lengths of 14" and two lengths of 7". The 14" lengths will make two 12 3/4" straps after 1 1/4" is overlapped on one side of the mounting clips. The two 7" lengths will make two 4 1/2" straps after 1 1/4" is overlapped on both sides. After they are strapped in over the bag and tightened, there is plenty of excess on the longer length, so you've got some wiggle room if you want to make them a bit shorter.
