That chamois, because of the vintages it depicts, would in turn correspond appropriately with one or the other or even both of the manuals you have.
From what I was told the guy had macular degeneration on his eyes. He had it painted a flat black to stop glare. He also had a shelf made above the windshield to hold things and it has brackets which have fold down tinted plexi glass visors. Nice little addition

You are correct it is a gun rack. He was a nra memberWhat is the bracket or holder in the bottom right in post #19. Looks like a butt of a gun stock would fit. Mine has one also with the front part bent in the same fasion.
